Riviera del Brenta
Riviera del Brenta is an extremely fascinating territory which extends along the Brenta river, characterized by the presence of many patrician villas built between the Sixteenth and Eighteenth centuries. Back then it was possible to reach the Riviera only by boat. The aristocrats used a boat called “Burchiello” which was drawn on the bank of the river by men, oxen or horses. Still today, from March to October, it is possible for tourists to go again along the same streams and visit this wonderful landscape.
